Ashley Spivey

Ashley Spivey is a self-taught artist and local teacher who is always seeking to strengthen her abilities in capturing accurate renderings of her subjects. She finds watercolor and acrylic paints her medium of choice and painting murals are her favorite projects to do. Her hopes are that like so much of the art that moves her, she too can produce pieces that reveal truth, reflect hope, point to divinity, and connect with humanity in a profound way no matter how simple her subjects may be. She is thrilled to have her latest pieces, "Sun-seekers" on display with Underground Art inspired by her children and kindergarten students who orient towards goodness and light despite difficulties, darkness, or even despair.
