Amanda Soriano
Amanda prefers to work with and emphasize the artistry already found in nature with wild, organic textures and shapes using local blooms and seasonal foraged botanicals. Using dried florals brings an almost permanence to the fleeting life of a fresh flower while her installations offer interest, wonder, movement and captivating.
Amanda has spent the last 25 years honing her floral skills in many capacities, most recently as the Farmer-Florist based in Klamath Falls, Yarrow & Tulsi. Her love of flowers began as toddler spending hours with her great-grandmother tending to her many gardens in Wilder, Idaho.
As a wife and mother of 5, her time outside of flowers is always busy and full. Amanda loves visiting the Oregon coast with her family, going on hikes & nature strolls, reading memoirs and children’s literature, and taking leisurely naps outside in the sun.
